The MovieBabble Podcast Episode 2: The Perilous State of Star Wars

by Nick Kush
Star Wars

After a bit of a hiatus, The MovieBabble Podcast is back with its second episode. This time I (Nick Kush) am joined once again by MovieBabble contributor Stephen Finlay to talk about a topic that definitely has no controversy surrounding it. Of course, I’m talking about Star Wars.

All kidding aside, the Star Wars franchise has hit a bit of a rough patch in recent months following the scathing backlash to The Last Jedi back in December and the very lukewarm reception to Solo: A Star Wars Story. Disney has given the green light to many projects, only to then take that green light back. Some people want Kathleen Kennedy to resign from her position, but others want her stay on. There doesn’t seem to be a clear path for Star Wars moving forward…and Stephen and I share that skepticism. Throughout this episode, both us discuss what we want from Star Wars in the future, and if there’s a correct path for the property.
