There’s way too many companies creating way too many streaming services these days. It was inevitable; when businesses see the possibility of earning a ton of cash, they go all in. But for YouTube — despite the fact that YouTube Premium is going through a bit of an overhaul — Bodied is a solid step in the right direction, offering enough in-your-face style to become a possible crowd favorite.

Bodied is the satirical story of Adam Merkin (Worthy), a progressive grad student who becomes an accidental battle rapper whose success breeds outrage. Shoniqua Shandai (Sing It!, The Fosters), Walter Perez (The Avengers, Fame), Rory Uphold (Hella) also star in the film. Well known battle rappers Dizaster, Dumbfoundead, Hollow Da Don and media personality Charlamagne Tha God are among the supporting cast.
