MovieBabble’s 2020 Oscar Predictions

It has been a relatively boring awards season, with many of the key categories — Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress — essentially locked up with many repeat winners at the guild awards ceremonies that occurred throughout the last few months.

But now, with the 92nd Academy Awards on the horizon, Nick and I mull through this year’s list of Oscar nominees in each category, predicting which of the lot the Academy will crown as their winners. We also pick who we think deserves to win in each category, introduce some betting lines into the conversation, and even some potential upset picks in the categories that seem to have a clear winner.
