Aside from the slap heard around the world, the 94th Academy Awards were filled with a plethora of other highs and lows. This broadcast featured the return of the hosts, the first Best Picture win by a streaming service, as well as an unorthodox approach to the ceremony which saw eight categories pre-recorded and spliced into the live broadcast as well as two fan-voted categories.
Some of it worked, some of it certainly didn’t. Listen to myself and Nick breakdown the broadcast and give our thoughts and opinions on the format and this year’s winners.
