‘Tingle Monsters’ by Alexandra Serio

by The MovieBabble Staff

An ASMR vlogger with a devoted fan base returns from an extended absence with a livestream that spirals out of control.

Nick Kush: I appreciate any film that strives to push cinema forward. What is the purpose of being a “creator” if they collectively stop attempting to make new onscreen images? Tingle Monsters feel likes a concerted effort to expand the boundaries of what the “Screenlife” subgenre can do, using an ASMR livestream to depict the harassment and vilification of women of online. It’s also deeply creepy in a way that quickly removes any skepticism you may have had after reading the synopsis.
