‘Is Your Daughter Home?’ by Vincenzo Nappi

Nick Kush: The grain of the film and the general rough-around-the-edges aesthetic to Is Your Daughter Home? recaptures the sensation of many grindhouse and exploitation films of past decades by making the killer look as unpleasant and unromantic as possible — and even bordering on downright silly at times. However, Vincenzo Nappi luckily has a bit more restraint than many of those movies, directing your attention away from the sensationalistic violence at just the right moment.
