‘Bob & Dale’ by David Rosfeld

An elderly gay couple living off the grid in the Rocky Mountains finds a deeper love together when dementia threatens their independence.

Nick Kush: I adore Bob & Dale’s sparing use of dialogue. The titular couple has been in this routine for a while, looking after each other through their forgetful patches. They don’t need to tell each other how much they love each other, it’s implicit in everything they do. Mark Hattan and Robert W. Smith will absolutely crush you with every gesture.
