Zack Snyder is once again here to save cinema with Netflix’s Army of the Dead. Snyder’s return to the zombie genre is flawed but fun, although Brennan and I disagree on how much of either it actually is. We break down our reactions to the film and the franchise that it has already spawned, as well as a pitch for the Dave Bautista/Jason Momoa buddy comedy we’ve all been waiting for. We also discuss the release of Blast Beat, a film that I had the pleasure of checking out at Sundance 2020.
We round out this podcast with a trip down the rabbit hole, this time the Babble Movie Club takes a look back at 1951’s Alice in Wonderland. Brennan and I discuss the merits and legacy of this film as it captures the best of Disney’s animation and vocal talents.
