Captain Marvel continues to go higher, further, and faster than the competition. (Like the title of this article, we enjoy our cheesy jokes here at MovieBabble). But in other, more depressing news, Wonder Park opens up far below its budget and Five Feet Apart rides on The Fault in Our Stars’ coattails. Older films continue to hold onto the top five in the last few weeks before Disney and other studios begin rolling out their summer blockbusters. All in all, with the recent run of popular films, the box office is much better off than earlier this year. However, most films are still in a slump.
In other news, James Gunn is back for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (yay!). And, yet another Transformers sequel is on the way. All of these wondrous topics and more are discussed by Nick and myself on this week’s episode of The MovieBabble Podcast:

I finally saw Wonder Park, so I came here to see if it had been reviewed. I thought it was quite touching… and girl-power-y. There were sappy moments, but I allow kid’s movies more of that.
